This session will be a brief 101 on refractory coatings and application methods as well as quality test procedures. In this presentation, I will outline some additional pearls and specific notes for testing. Additionally, I will provide several interesting case studies relevant to Iron and Aluminum castings, additional molding materials, and casting defects related to coatings followed by an open Q&A.
